Company
Integrated Management Systems LLC was founded in Moscow in 2019 to develop the Knowledge Space (KS) platform.
KS was developed by a team of professionals with more than 20 years of experience in the digitalisation of planning systems, business process modelling and optimisation, as well as in implementing large-scale automation programs for major companies.
History
The first prototype of the platform was developed in 2003 and successfully tested in solving production and economic planning tasks based on regulatory models in a large metallurgical holding.
The second generation of the platform was a flexible object-oriented extension built on top of Microsoft products — Excel and Visio. It evolved between 2005 and 2015 and was widely used by medium and large Russian companies for planning and business management.
The third generation, developed between 2016 and 2018, was enhanced to support the management of complex innovative projects. The solution was custom-developed and patented by one of the largest oil and gas companies.
The new generation of the platform, created in 2019 and named Knowledge Space (KS), has its own fully independent core based on an object-oriented approach. KS is primarily a platform that enables the creation of IT solutions of any level of complexity using its extensive capabilities and advanced integration mechanisms.
The KS platform incorporates the team’s extensive experience in developing planning solutions as well as implementing various Western systems such as CPM, ERP, EAM, BI, and others. The platform is built on a microservices architecture and uses a modern technology stack.
Team
At every stage of the platform’s development, we were joined by new highly professional and talented like-minded people. This is how the core of the KS team was formed.
The KS team includes around 250 specialists involved in the development, implementation, support, and promotion of IT solutions based on the platform. Over 450 no-code/low-code developers outside the vendor's organisation have been certified to work with the KS platform. This community continues to grow.
Platform
The core idea behind KS is to provide organisations with a fundamentally new platform solution based on an object-oriented approach and no-code / low-code technologies, enabling them to address planning and business management challenges at a fundamentally new level.
KS addresses many of the same business challenges as platforms such as SAP IBP, SAP APO, Anaplan, Quintiq, IBM Planning Analytics, and Enterprise Architect, while offering a unique combination of integrated planning, enterprise architecture capabilities, process automation, simulation modeling, and no-code application development.
The current release of KS provides extensive capabilities for all types of business planning and enterprise architecture management. We continue to invest in the platform’s ongoing development, expanding its functionality and enhancing its capabilities to meet evolving business needs.
