The Gantt Chart is an essential tool for managing investment projects and capital construction projects. It is also widely used in other planning tasks. Its key feature is the visualization of interrelated activities, allowing management by adjusting timelines and duration parameters.

A distinctive feature of KS’s Gantt Chart is that all indicators characterizing activities in the calendar-network plan are fully integrated into the calculation model. This means that, on one hand, start and end dates can be calculated based on other model indicators (e.g., equipment availability), and, on the other hand, other model indicators can be recalculated based on these dates. For example, within the driver-based approach, a resource consumption norm is assigned to an activity; if the activity changes, resource requirements and costs are automatically recalculated. This ensures high customization capabilities for production-economic models.
